Face Painting

Face Painting comes in many different styles and varieties. We help you to determine what may be best for your needs and occasion. We offer the following:

  • Full-face

  • Half-face

  • Cheek Art

  • Glitter

  • Gems & Handcrafted Bling (for additional fee)

For smaller parties (<12 guests), we can offer more detailed, full-face designs with bling. Since these designs require more time per face, we cannot do this for a larger number of guests.

For larger events (30+ guests), such as free-to-the-public, we can provide a menu of quick and simple designs best suited to accommodate a larger number of guests to help ensure as many people as possible have a design.

To get the best of both worlds, we also provide spectacular partial-face designs (such as eye-designs, masks and half-face) or simpler full face designs to still you with a look that will impress your guests!

These are our recommendations, but feel free to adjust to your needs (ex: simple designs for a small party). However, we cannot do more lavish designs for large crowds since it would be more time consuming and we would not be able to support the majority of your guests.

Rates

  • Hourly rate: $125/hr.

  • With Bling: $140/hr.

  • Bookings require a 2 hr. minimum

FAQs

What kind of paint is used?

We only use professional-grade water-based paints, cosmetic glitter and skin adhesives specifically made for application to the face and body. All cosmetics (including everyday makeup) can, on rare occasions, cause allergic reaction. This applies to all cosmetics and face paint, regardless of who you hire. However, allergic reactions are more common in face painters who use low-quality paints or paints not intended for skin.

Do the colors stain skin?

We strive to keep customer satisfaction in mind, even after an event, which is why we make every effort to use paints that are both beautiful and easy to remove. Skin types differ and so does their reaction to paint. On occasions where someone experiences staining, some traces of color may remain for a short period after washing, but the pigment will disintegrate.

What practices do you use for sanitation and hygiene?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

What do you bring with you to an event?

The artist brings a carrying case stocked with paints, brushes, brush tubs, brush bath cleaner, sponges, water, baby wipes, glitter, gems, adhesives (for attaching gems), mini spray bottle, mirror, model release forms, pen, tip box (for public events) etc. in a carrying case. They may also brings their phone to take photos for their website/profiles. Please let us know if there are any issues with tipping or photography.

Is there anyone you won’t paint?

We will not paint any of the following: Those with Broken skin, Visible rashes, Irriation, Conjuctivitis, Styes, Open Wounds, Recent Chicken Pox, Cold Sores, Skin Disorders, Severe Acne or any other apparent illness. We will also not paint children with messy faces (they should be cleaned prior to joining queue) and those who are visibly distressed or unable to sit still

How do I remove the paint?

Although paint can easily be removed from the skin with soap and water, we strongly recommend starting with a baby wipe or a damp soft cloth/paper towel first to keep cleanup more contained and manageable, then following up w/ soap and water afterwards to remove any remaining residue. Wipe in a direction away from the eyes, especially if there is glitter in the design.
